The time honored Kilmore Cup is at Seymour with a small field going around over the tough 1600m.

Top pick Heptagon is racing well but was beaten by A Shin Rook at Seymour but from the pole will get a good run in behind the speed, East Indiaman is clearly a quality horse probably up outside the leader, 1600 is probably his limit distance, A Shin Rook back 200m gets back which could be a problem, he probably doesn't run 1800 anyway, Travismyfriend came from last in a small field last time, from barrier 9 is probably going to have to do the same, Pounamu the old stager from WA is renowned for winning at a big price but he has a good horse's weight, Spunlago has snuck in on the weights but like Pounamu appears out of form, Brown Ben also looks to have lost form, 37 days off, Manolo with only one run over 1600 on a heavy 10 track is inconclusive about the distance, 1600 is prob too far, Torgerson second up seems unlikely, Al Passem as the likely leader could stick on to finish close up but many other chances race handy as well

The top 3 in the RC market do look the strong chances, no overs, A Shin Rook the likely winner with perhaps Spunlago and Pounamu improving as the two overs in the race...

Review:

The likely winner could not quite get there with Al Passem proving to be too strong
